Georgia Ladies Auxiliary

Purpose:
The Georgia Society SAR Ladies Auxiliary assists the Georgia Society SAR and the National Society SAR to further their goals and objectives of inspiring patriotism and informing others of the contributions of our revolutionary ancestors. Auxiliary members support the 35 Georgia SAR chapters through such activities as helping with meeting preparations, chapter banquets, service projects, grave markings, commemoration events, fundraising, etc.

Membership:
According to the Bylaws, membership in the Georgia Ladies Auxiliary is open to wives, mothers, daughters, granddaughters, sisters, aunts, nieces, and other women related by marriage or bloodline to members in good standing in the SAR or deceased members who were in good standing.

Meetings:
There is one Auxiliary meeting per year which takes place during the Georgia SAR Annual Meeting in January.

Dues:
The cost to join the Georgia Ladies Auxiliary is $25 for a lifetime membership.

Benefits of the Georgia Ladies Auxiliary:

  • You also become a member of the National Ladies Auxiliary SAR without additional dues.
  • You may wear the official Georgia and National Ladies Auxiliary SAR pins (can be purchased for $15 each).
  • Your membership supports important Georgia and National SAR projects.
  • There are no required meetings to attend.
