The Connecticut Society of NSSAR welcomes us to the 135th Annual Congress being held at the Mohegan Sun Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. Tours, meetings, luncheons, and banquets focus on the activities that support NSSAR’s mission, promoting the legacy of our patriot ancestors and our early American heritage. It is particularly a time for NSSAR compatriots and members of the National Ladies Auxiliary SAR to renew friendships and make new ones.

Enjoy the many events, including the tours, luncheons and banquets, the solemn Memorial Service, the impressive Rumbaugh Finals, and more! Tours are being offered of (1) Mystic Seaport, Museum and town, or alternatively of (2) Fort Griswold with bench dedication and live volley, tour of Norwich, and tour of the Mohegan Museum and Burial Grounds. Short tours are planned for (1) Connecticut properties including the War Office and stables, and (2) the Pequot museum. There are several activities specifically for the ladies accompanying their compatriots. (This year, you will need to register separately from your compatriot.) In addition to those events when you accompany your compatriot, be sure to register for the (free) First Lady’s Tea on July 14th, and the Ladies Luncheon on July 16th. Come visit the hospitality room and shop the National Ladies Auxiliary SAR offerings while there. All registrants are invited to hear the program offered at the start of the NLASAR General Membership meeting. Come join us!

• NLASAR Executive Board Meeting: 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Location: (TBA)
• NLASAR General Membership Meeting: Location: (TBA). Open to all Congress registrants.
  • 2:15 pm. NLASAR membership renewal with NLASAR 3rd Vice President.
  • 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Speaker, followed by business meeting.
  • 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Group photos of NLASAR members, first-time attendees, and state auxiliaries.
• NLASAR State Auxiliaries Leadership Council (New!): 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Location: (TBA) Open to leadership of state auxiliaries.
